About the NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) role is to implement the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to support people with significant or permanent disabilities to live an ordinary life. This will include and not limited to choice and control, community participation and improved well-being

SERVICES
NDIS Support Coordination
To Support you to understand and implement funded supports in your NDIS Plan and link you to community, mainstream and other government services. This will assist your ability to exercise better choice and control in your life and access your local community. Support Coordinators will support you in NDIS Planning meetings with either NDIS Planners or LAC’s (Local Area Coordinator).
Linking and connecting NDIS supports
A good support coordinator will help participants coordinate and implement supports in their plan and participate more fully in the community in partnership with allied health, disability services and other essential providers.
Participant Centered
Focus, empowering, choice and control for participants to obtain services to meet their needs under the NDIS.
Choice and Control
To support participants to have choice and control over their NDIS plan and empower participants with the flexibility to use one provider or many providers.

NDIS Planning Meetings
Plan and prepare for review meetings with NDIS and Partners in the Community (PITS).
Support Workers/Mentors
Provide qualified and suitable Support Workers and Mentors.

Previous experience includes roles at NDIA, Mission Australia and NDIS providers.
We're experienced on how the process works and will be able to guide participants in the planning process through to supporting and implementing their plans.
Support participants to pursue their goals for a good life. I am experienced with supporting participants to connect with their local communities in activities they enjoy including mainstream services. This support will build awareness for the participant and their families to be more inclusive at reaching their aspirations.

We have over 15 years’ experience in the disability industry with service providers in various positions from Support Worker to more complex individualized services with participants and their families.
We specialized with young adults with diagnoses of mild to severe, intellectual and physical disabilities, autism spectrum and mental health.
We're highly passionate and sensitive which motivates me to provide the best support and assistance to all my participants to achieve the best possible quality of life. We are certainly person centered as it encourages our participants to choose supports which will better their lives.
We believe in quality over quantity when we engage with participants and when we take on participants as we would like to provide the best possible service to each individual.
Professionalism education standards includes:
Bachelor of Applied Science (Curtin University of Technology)
Cert III in Community Services (Youth Work)
Cert IV in Community Services (Youth Work)
Dip. Community Welfare Work
Cert III in Individual Support
